Blue Dragonfly Insights is on a mission to tackle the poor bookkeeping trap many business owners fall into by instilling confidence and good financial controls into owner managed businesses in Rutland and beyond.
Blue Dragonfly Insights is a passion project of Angela Turton and has been born from her working with businesses in Rutland for the last five years, and experiencing that the one thing that consistently holds business owners back is not knowing their numbers.
Angela is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), and her expertise is working with service-based companies who sell their time for example Solicitors, Creative Agencies and any Experts in their field exchanging expertise for money.
BOOKKEEPING DOESN'T HAVE TO BE HARD, TIME CONSUMING AND BORING
Not many going into business owners are great at finance, even some accountants can struggle to get the time to analyse their own numbers in enough depth. This leads to Bookkeeping being often delegated or ignored, until the year-end or VAT deadline and this leads to trouble!
Bookkeeping is not higher maths. It used to be deathly boring, but with the advent of open banking and cloud computing, it can be automated and with a little knowledge and a small amount of time all business owners can have good financial mastery
